Class Descriptions
Two Sparrows offers a variety of skill based and dance based class. We offer all levels classes as well as beginner, intermediate, and advanced class options. If you are unsure of what class level is appropriate, please call or email us and we would be glad to assist you!
Intro to Pole
This 3 week instructor lead Pole Dance course is designed for anyone interested in learning the art of pole dance with no previous history of aerial arts or dance needed. Each week we will guide you on your journey from learning the art of dance and movement to basic spins and tricks on the pole.
Introduction Package is nonrefundable after purchase.
Pole Levels
Our pole classes focus on pole tricks, conditioning and technique.

Level 0 / completion of intro to pole / learn basic pole spins, tricks, and climbs
​
Level 1 /must have solid climb/ learn to combine tricks and spins together on static and spin pole / learn to invert
​
Level 2 / must have a solid invert, outside and inside leg hang, and hip hold / learn inverted and upright ascended tricks / combine tricks together on static and spinning pole / focus on movement, stamina, and control
​
Level 3 / must have an aerial invert and comfortable with foundations taught in level 2 / take your skills and techniques up in the air / create dynamic aerial combinations / focus on grace, fluidity, strength, stamina, and flexibility on static and spin pole
Pole Flow
Pole flow 0 - 3 is an instructor lead freestyle class that combines floorwork, spins, and tricks that are appropriate to each level.

When the music turns on, take the movements you learn in class into your own hands to create your own personal flow and style

Flow classes coordinate with level classes.
Please choose the aerial flow class that aligns with your skill level class.
Pole Chair
All Levels Class
​
Pole Chair focuses on chair acro, floorwork, and low flow pole tricks.
Instructors may give variations for more difficult transitions and tricks to accommodate all students.
Lyra
Come learn the art of movement and Lyra tricks
​
Beginner Lyra / no previous history of aerial arts or dance needed / basic tricks and spins
​
Intermediate Lyra / must be able to invert and dismount, comfortable on upper bar without a spot, intermediate flexibility / learn new tricks / combine tricks for smooth transitions / focus on musicality and fluidity

*We recommend brining layers of clothing to class, tank top, long sleeves and leggings

Pole Fit
Foundations of Inverts
Flex & Stretch - All Levels Class
flexibility and mobility for dancers / front and middle splits / backbends / shoulder and chest stands / focus on active flexibility and strength.
This class is a conditioning class without use of the pole.
Please bring yoga mats to class.
Two Sparrows provides yoga blocks and straps.

Pole Fit - Level 0 +
Conditioning for pole tricks and climbs
This class is best suited for Level 0 and Level 1 students wanting to build strength overall and condition their climbs
​
Foundation of Inverts - Level 1 +
Conditioning for inverts
chopper/ inside and outside leg hang / shoulder mounts / apprentice / funk grip/ etc.
This class is a prerequisite for level 1 students wanting to move up to level 2 and great for Level 2 + students wanting to condition higher level inverts

Choreography
All Levels Class

Learn a choreographed pole dance routine / focus on low flow and base work pole tricks
Instructors may give variations for more difficult transitions and tricks to accommodate all students.
